June Wrap Up

It's been a few weeks since I have put anything
new on my blog-where does the time go?
Well......I flew to Denver yesterday for
a week long visit with good friends and family....
Before I left I delivered July's arrangement to
Blue Sky Gallery in the Pearl District-
I taped some leaves onto some bamboo , then
sprayed blue paint on them and then dabbed some
white paint over the blue to make clouds...
Added to them one tall millet stalk and voila!
A "flower" arrangement that will last for a month!
Last week we went over to John Day and Baker City.
We visited friends in Baker City and admired
the huge mural that our friend Tom Novak had
painted with the high school kids helping.
It is a memorial for one of the teachers who had taught
at the high school.
Here's the link to his web site:

Then we were in JOhn Day for the annnual BMWRO Rally
that takes place every 3rd weekend in June.
The city of John Day opens up with their generous
hospitality and good humor. We always have a good time
there camping at the fairgrounds.....this photo is of the
Thursday night wine tasting.
About 800 people came to the Rally this year.

This photo was taken at a little park in John Day

Earlier this month we drove down to the Medford
area to look at potential real estate in Jacksonville.....

We looked at houses in Ashland......

and wine tasted in Jacksonville.....

So far this month has been a blast!!!!!
This last photo is of me shooting a black powder muzzle loader!

I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers! Thanks!
