I read to my son everyday when he was little and he's an avid reader. I read to my oldest granddaughter everyday and she's an avid reader. I so agree.

I'm still sick, but I'm getting better. Finally.

An excellent idea! My children were read to a lot, and when they were a bit older, we would read through classics during breakfast. That's how we read a lot of H.G. Wells!

If you don't have children to whom you can read in your own family, go volunteer at a public school or library to be a reading friend.
