which is just a bit above Mulege BCS.

They live in a little piece of paradise.

Lucky them....lucky us.

Actually we've been unpacked for days,

Mexico is such a beautiful country full of color.

We took a 4+mile walk

Russell and I decided yesterday to walk over to a house that is for sale-good grief-what we thought was a 2 mile walk was a 4+mile walk ONE WAY! WE made it and saw why it was for sale-out on a high knoll with NO sun protection. The folks that built it didn't put any porticos or verandas around it and the sun and wind must be pretty harsh....great view though.

On the way back I stuck my thumb out and we rode back......here's a few pics of our walk.

Just another day in paradise!

While Russell and Harry went fishing for dinner, Pam and I had a lovely at home day-giving the puppies their baths , I drew a little, we took a walk down to the lightouse to see the Osprey nest-a relaxing day to say the least. Russell and Harry were gone all day- they caught 3 big fish-two groupers and a Yellow Tail ...we'll have a yummy dinner tonight with some of the fish and the rest went into the freezer.

After dinner we watched American Idol because Pam and Harry are HOOKED on it!

Here's one pic from the day, plus others on flickr. These are shrimp boats anchored for the day not too far from Pam's Casa Abuela that she rents out.

January was rather sendentary for me....cold and bitter weather kept me in...along with self induced food poisoning....and I know better....ah well. It was a productive even if slightly lazy month as I sewed to my hearts content making gifts for friends and family that we will be visiting in February...our California road trip and also for our trip to Mexico in March to see Pam and Harry. ( I also made a few things for the Punta Chivato school auction) We will also take a side trip to La Paz for 5 days....never been there.
