What we've been up to this week.....July 9, 2015

A few weeks ago Russell decided that he
really needed to extend our deck that he had built a few years back to make it more practical.  It's amazing what
he can accomplish in just a few days.
Here are a few photos....

Now we can really use this space
as it's wide enough to accommodate
our table and chairs without
worrying about someone pushing
back their chair too far and falling
off the deck! Plus adding the
planter box was his brilliant idea.
As you can see from this photo we have been getting lots of rain the past few days.
 Much needed and appreciated!

Last night we went to a fabulous concert
( You can check out all the performers on this site)
Wonderful music that went on past midnight.
We so enjoyed ourselves.

Ben Krakauer on banjo, John Engle on fiddle,
Dominick Leslie on mandolin
and Meredith McIintosh on bass.

Rushad Eggleston -
 fabulous musician and performance artist.
Phenomenonal banjo player is Ben Krakauer.

I hope all of you are enjoying your summer!

When I open my eyes.....

My early morning view as I wake up...
yep that's snow...it can leave now....
We are finally moved into our new bedroom-only details left are
getting doors for the closet plus setting up shelves etc in the closet.
We started this building project in May and I am pleased we are done.
So is Russell as he has done most of the work on adding 600 sq feet to the house.
I just stayed out of his way and made lots of cookies!
