Day One With a Few Photos.....

We are on a fun little road trip-

a weeks long vacation-

first going to Bend, 

then to Baker City

 and finally to Portland

for a friends wedding.

Going from Hwy 62 to Hwy 230

we were going past Crater Lake..

so we paused for a nice detour- 

First we saw Mount Thielsen

before turning off for Crater Lake-

 the deepest lake in the US

Driving through the Pumice Desert

and finally stopping to look at Wizard Island

and Crater Lake

On our return to Hwy 230

we stopped for a nice photo of

Mount McLoughlin.
