This is a re-do of this weeks Feline Friday...
I experienced a lot of technical problems and
eventually had to delete the original post as some
problems with commenting could not be fixed. Sorry!
These 3 little kitties showed up in our backyard
yesterday afternoon. Very skittish and not
trusting at all. But they knew all about "Kitty kitty"
and came towards me when I had Fancy Feast
to share with them!
left information and these photos hoping someone
would say "Oh those are our kittens!"
But nope no one did and we had to assume
that they had been abandoned to fend for themselves.
By this morning after feeding them many times
yesterday and twice this early morning I managed to
finagle them into our large dog crate we used to
transport Lucy to our new home. They were also getting
quite friendly, rubbing up against us
and wanting in the house. Well, Lucy was having
none of that and was going ballistic and attacking
the windows. Russell managed to herd her upstairs
without getting bitten or clawed.
( Lucy turns quite feral seeing other felines )
I was getting lots of responses and offers of
help by this morning. One amazing woman who is a
volunteer at West Columbia Gorge Humane Society
came to our home and will transport them
to the shelter for us . Thank goodness for angels.
I don't remember all of my comment yesterday on the original post, but bless you both for taking proper care of these cutie pies and what an angel the woman from the Humane Society. Angels indeed.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect weekend. Big hug to you and Russell and an extra treat to Miss Lucy. ♥♥♥
So terrible someone would dump them. They're cute. Glad you took care of them and someone will come get them. Hopefully they are adopted.
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you, thank you for helping out those precious ones. They'll remember your kindness forever.
ReplyDeleteI was not able to comment yesterday. I wanted to commend you on saving these kitties.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry your post did you wrong, and so thankful you went out of your way to help these precious babies!
ReplyDeleteAwesome job. Glad you were able to get them to a place that will fix them and place them in homes.
