You are using my photograph without permission. (That's my orange cat, Waffles, with the American flag.) As a blogger, I would hope you'd take the time to select photos for your posts that are not copyrighted or owned by someone else. There are thousands of stock photos that can be purchased for pennies, or Creative Commons photos that allow free usage, or you can create images yourself. Just because you find a photo online through a google search, etc...does not mean it doesn't belong to someone. Please understand there is a person, a photographer, an artist on the other side of many photos circulating online. And copyright infringement, whether intentional or not, is never cool. 11. Kathe,

What a lovely tribute to our fallen heroes from the greatest generation we'll ever know! DH's dad was in WWII. He did not see active combat as his training finished incidentally just as the war came to end. I'm thankful he did not have to go into battle because that's a living hell for all who's done it. I'm going to link this post to the 4M dance floor because it's all about the mewsic. We don't care what kind ya have just as long as you share and play along. ;) Have a boogietastic week and thanks for visiting!

  12. If not for this country taking in my family, I might have had family in that tribute. My father served in the Army Air Force and one of his sisters was a WAVE. That sister served in Europe (Great Britain), I believe. So many sad and tragic stories of that time, and I think of all the soldiers who never came back so we can be free today. I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers! Thanks!
