2018 Photo Project
Photo #138
While up visiting friends in Lake Oswego Oregon
I captured this adorable shot of Norton!
He sure is a cutie pie!

2018 Photo Project
Photo #139

I also went to the Farmers Market in L.O.
This photo reminds me to start making
this Rhubarb Relish.....

Combine the following ingredients in a
medium saucepan and bring to a boil
over high heat:
2 cups diced rhubarb
1/2 cup sugar
Grated zest of one orange
1/3 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup chopped shallots or red onion
1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped

Reduce the heat and simmer until the rhubarb
softens, about 12 minutes.  Yum!

Awww on the kitty. He's a cutie pie indeed.

Yummy on the rhubarb relish. I want some and I want some of that asparagus too. One of my favorite veggies.

Have a fabulous day, Kathe. Big hug to you and Russell and tons of scritches to Miss Lucy. ♥♥♥

Kathe,

Doesn't Norton know that playing in plastic bags is not a good idea? Didn't he read the warning? :) He sure has a surprised look on his face. lol Thanks for popping by for a visit. Have a good week!

Norton looks adorable. Thanks for adding your link to the Tummy Tuesday on Cactus Catz. The asparagus and rhubarb looks great. First time I've heard of rhubarb relish but the ingredients look yummy.
