Magpie Tales #303

Photos by Francesca Woodman
Oh Francesca
Like fingers snapping
Time clicked by too fast for you
Thanks to Tess Kincaid for Magpie Tales.

  1. For some it does. Very well done.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and tons of scritches to Miss Lucy. ♥♥♥

  2. I agree... she danced way too short.. such a sad waste.

  3. Agreed.

But so many artists are never recognized until they are dead, especially if they take their own life. Who knows; maybe she did.

  4. Interesting coupling of words and imagery. Artistic yet pensive.

  5. Some burn so bright for such a short time, i think they just burn themselves out too quickly.

  6. Perhaps she was too engrossed but hasty. It could have been averted!

  7. Tis sad her art is all that remains of the young artist.

  8. Yes , but fortunately for Francesca , shes still around !

  9. actually Kutamun she committed suicide at the young age of 22. Very tragic.

  10. You are so talented at getting to the essence of Tess' Magpie challenges.

  11. As I read more responses to this prompt, I become aware of the back story. Not knowing it, I took the prompt in a direction all my own.

I think you did a masterful job here in very few words.

Wow! Do the two pics go together? Awesome writing!

  13. So true, but look at what she left behind just for us!

I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers! Thanks!
