Time for Six Words and Shadow Shots! March 7-8, 2015

Early morning....
a ducks eye view...

The day begins...

Riverside nibbles

Exercising by paddling

A reflective moment

 So peaceful here

Passing boats create waves

Another gorgeous day begins...
Thanks for visiting my blog-
to see more from other bloggers!

  1. Happy, happy duckies! Finding joy in the simplicity of life.

  2. Thanks for sharing because I'd never get up early enough to see that. Not on the weekends anyway.

  3. Great shots of birds in action.

  4. have a gorgeous Saturday; i'm happy you stopped by my blog today

    much love...

  5. We have a gorgeous ending here to a grey and windy day. You just never know! Watching Davis Cup tennis as I type :)

  6. Our favorite waterfowl begin their day with the usual sorts of things we do in the AM, such as eating, exercising and preparing themselves for a day of work. Theirs is not a bad lot, considering that their workday is swimming in circles. Great work if you can get it :)

  7. I'm watching pretty much the same thing this morning only on the California Delta. Beautiful morning indeed.

Have a fabulous day. Scritches to Miss Lucy. :)

  8. So peaceful and those ripples stir the profound.

  9. Anonymous9:05 AM

No open water available for ducks up here at present. A duck would probably pay good money for some watery access right about now, I guess--or we could put it on his bill.

  10. Love these photos! The Willamette river is beautiful!

  11. Such a pretty area you featured here!! I like that one you said was a good place to reflect; I could spend time there reflecting indeed!!

  12. What a lovely way to begin the day!

  13. Watching ducks always makes me smile, and Sweetie loves them almost as much as he loves his cats.

  14. I bet these ducks start their day earlier than I start mine.

  15. Your photos are beautiful.
The ducks in the river near our house are leaving soon.

  16. Hi Kathe,

Loving to see everything is alive after a long and heavy winter.

    Happy SSS,

  17. They're all beautiful shots, but I like the 'reflective moments' one the best.

  18. I <3 ducks! I have 2 pet ones, Olive and Opal! They're such "quackers"!

I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers!
