The Friday Meanderers take a hike....
We drove a little past Callahan-
got to Masterson Road where we
parked our cars and walked 4 or so miles ...
The first mile and a half was uphill....
is this really meandering we asked?
Eventually the road became easier as we
crossed the East Fork of the Scott River...
Here's a wheelbarrow waiting for spring...
A well aged fence post
They call this mesa "Lovers Leap"
Eventually we got back to our cars and
headed to the Etna Brewery for
a splendid and well earned lunch!
Hubby and I like to do this too. Can't take Little Bit anymore as she's too old, but we've had some great afternoons hiking in the wilderness.
