As a kid I collected rocks-
Fingering the smooth shapes
Stuffing them into my pocket-
Taking them home to treasure
Putting them into a glass jar of water-
Or lining them up on the window sill
Not knowing that in the future-
I'd find my perfect rock
A diamond in the rough......
My forever life partner.

I love the metaphors here and I LOVE that first pic of the leaves reflecting on the rock's surface. You two look like a happy couple :)ReplyDelete
Aww, so sweet. I like how rocks have evolved in your life, Kathe.ReplyDelete

AWWWW...how cute are you and your husband. I am a real sucker about those of us that found forever love. You two look beautiful together.ReplyDelete
That was really sweet! I think that first rock might be a little too big for your pocket though.ReplyDelete
Yep, one lucky (make that two lucky) people! You Rock!!!ReplyDelete
I'm so glad that you found your life partner. I did also but I think we're in the minority. Just lucky, I guess.ReplyDelete
Beautiful Kathy. I loved to collect rocks when I was a kid too--I even tried for a while to learn the names of different kinds and how to identify them (I think I gave up on that). And your forever rock--wonderful. I feel lucky to have one of those too.ReplyDelete
Very sweet, great picture of the two of you.ReplyDelete

Rocks do hold such beauty - especially when you find the perfect rock! So sweet!ReplyDelete
Rocking it all up, Kathe. Being solid rocks sustain longer. And the endearing one sustains the most. Nicely!ReplyDelete
What great photos... especially the last one of you both... you look like a perfect match! I'm delighted that you found your diamond, just as I have mine; it's a wonderful surprise to discover that you've chosen the very best! This sweet post left me smiling!ReplyDelete
