Is any one else having issues with Blogger and Google?

Tarnation, Frustration and Damnation

Has anyone else encountered this annoying message
from Blogger. I have moved a ton of files off of Picasa
and I still get this message.

"Whoops! You're out of space. You are currently using 100% of your 1 GB quota for photos. Upgrade storage
Photos are stored in your Picasa Web Albums account and are included in your 1 GB free quota for photos. Additional storage you purchase is shared between several Google products and is in addition to your free quota. Learn more"

Is this Googles way of telling me "Happy Thanksgiving"???
Am I going to have to move to Word Press?
If any of you have a suggestion please comment!
Thanks!

  1. Blogger has caused me so many problems that I've moved my blog elsewhere. But I don't want to miss this opportunity to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.

  3. I'm ponmdering a move to another blog venue too. Been too busy or too lazy to do it right now. Many things just don't seem to work well any longer. And then there's the stuff I can't decifer. As Bill the Cat always says "phfffftt."

  4. Ol' Bessy isn't having too many problems with it right now, but that can change at any moment.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  5. I have had some problems but have researched the alternatives extensively and there are prose and cons to all blogging platforms. I would be glad to discuss what I have discovered. As for the space issue, everytime you post graphics on your blog, a copy is stored in a Picassa file and yes, you can hit your limit. I have had to buy space twice as I am a graphics hog. Extra space isn't terribly expensive and there can be costs involved in Wordpress as well. 6. Hmmmm, I do not seem to have any problems thus far. And I use one of my blogs as a website with static pages of photos of my art work.

The only thing I noticed was when I went back to reuse a photo from the blog it didn't seem to have it.

I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers! Thanks!
