Somehow this inventor just doesn't think
That this is how his zippers should link
Trying as hard as he might
These gears just aren't meshing right
Perhaps I need to use a new device
With teeth chomping up so very nice
Else they will be returned in a sack
In care of me- Mr Gideon Sundback

ReplyDeleteBut remember the song... "all dressed up in buttons and bows"?
Now it should read: "All dressed up in zippers and velcro." Mmmm... seems to have lost something in translation.

Dear Kathe: Fun~!!! The inventor of the zipper~! Smart~!
ReplyDeleteCan these zipper secrets be sent to the people in China who make garments with zippers without durability? I enjoyed your poem and the rhythm worked really well. Thanks, Kathe.
