Magpie #54

Earthshaking News
There once was a lass named Rachel-a
Who could make one's life a living hell-a
Until the day
When the earth did sway
And changed her into an Angel-a

I wrote and posted this limerick prior to
hearing about the devastating earthquake
in New Zealand.
Having been in earthquakes myself, I do
not take them lightly. My heartfelt sympathies
and love go out to all New Zealanders

  10. A coincidence yes but for me a little light relief after being tuned in to all the news stations for most of the day and seeing the horror of the real thing.

The people of Christchurch are in my thoughts.

  15. Great humor in this... having suffered through both earthquakes and other nature events like tornados... I will take the tornado any day. My heart goes out to all of those lost and suffering in New Zealand and to their friends and relatives.

Aaahh.. I guess natural disasters have a way of changing one's life COMPLETELY...isn't it?!
Had I read this before the NZ earthquake, I would have giggled at this one... but now, I seem to be seeing it in another light... like this lass turning into an Angel-a almost means something post-lifelike!

Either ways, your magpie was excellent!! Makes me wanna hope that I don't make my hubby's life a living hell-a ;-)

I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers!
