Wordless Wednesday Christmas in the Kitchen December 27, 2017

 
Braided and baked 4 loaves of Challah
3 for friends and 1 for us.... 
 
 
Made one large apple pie for dessert.... 
 

 
And cleaned up after making lots of marmalades
for friends and family....
 
 
 
 
We had a lovely Christmas Day....

What a lovely day. Hubby and I worked together for a great meal yesterday too. We both ate way too much, but is was a most peaceful day.

What a great picture of the deer. To answer your question about the possom, he does seem to get along with all the cats. They are just interested in his different looking tail. He just comes up on our front porch and cleans up all the cat food. He is cute.

I love Challah bread! Beautiful and very good! Much of my childhood was in a Jewish Orthodox neighborhood on Chicago's NW side. You are very gifted, indeed, to cook and bake so beautifully, as well as your photographic treats. I am impressed.
