Because our German Shepherd, Elke, has hip dysplasia, we have to choose our words for a walk carefully... walks... w-a-l-k and go outside are taken. The poor thing is always up for a walk, but it's painful to watch her try. Meanwhile the Dobie is getting tubby and needs to walk so it becomes a matter of hiding walks from Elke. She always seems to know something is amiss.
