Hi Kathe ~~ Happy 6WS! If this isn't summer yet then I'm missing the NorthWest. We've been in the 90s and 100s steady nor for about a month. Plus a 'burn ban'.
I have an uncle (my age) who lived near lake Oswego. I think he moved to Washington. Probably for better Medicare. Another younger uncle did that for his kidney transplant. ..

Oh, I just love those first summer days! Then, I long for fall about half way through summer. A little hot weather goes a long way with me! LOL!

I so agree with you...so nice to finally see some sunshine.
