Wordless Wednesday December 13, 2017

Life can just get to darn busy this time of year....
I missed this week's Awww Monday
so I am now posting two photos for Awww Monday
and am on time for Wordless Wednesday!
Thanks Sandee for all you do!

Above is Lucy sleeping in her favorite sunny spot....
our dining room table!
And nope she never ever tries to eat our food...
Good kitty!!

If you look carefully you can see two little
marsupial gliders....the man who cuts my hair fosters
these two cuties. He has had them for 3 years
as the people who had them could not care for them.
They are nocturnal so look
a bit bewildered by all the daylight.

My dear friend Malia took this lovely photo
at Cannon Beach while her son and three daughters
were walking towards Haystack Rock.
This is an amazing image.

  2. Kathe,

Cats do love to sun themselves, don't they? I remember ours used to sit in the window all the time or laid in front of the spare bedroom window when the shades were open. It's especially nice in the cooler months. Heck, I like feeling the sun coming through on winter days. The photo your friend shared is fabulous. It belongs in a gallery. Have a joyful Christmas season and WW!

  3. They are all lovely images in their own way. Scritches to Lucy, who is such a good girl.

  4. That is a neat shot.
Is it even legal to have those gliders as pets? Aren't they wild animals?

  5. Lucy is adorable. The sugar gliders are pretty cute too, but not as cute as Lucy :)

  6. Alex- I do not believe that it is legal to have these little animals, but our friend fosters rescue animals - which is legal. These little animals are three years old and usually only live for five. He fosters all sorts of animals and birds when they are injured or need a safe home.

  7. I'm just glad all is well. Thanks for getting back to me.

Awww on the Awww Monday kitty. I smiled when you sent it to me yesterday. Miss Lucy can go anywhere she wants and she does.

The gliders are adorable. It's good they have someone to love and look after them.

I love the shot at heystack rock. That's a great shot.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Big hug to you and Russell and tons of scritches to the queen, Miss Lucy. ♥♥♥
