Soup soup beautiful soup
Eat it with a spoon
Eat it with a scoop
Eat it with noodles
Share it with poodles
Empty up that can
Paint it like a man
That clever man Andy
He was so handy
With paint and brush
There was no rush
Who would have thought
That a can bought
Could bring such fame
To the Campbell name

We love soup!!!!!
Really nice write! :)
If it's soup it must be Campbell's! Warhol ensured that!

He's a fine example of how you can make art out of anything!
Mmmm, soup, I'll think of Campbell's but make my own chicken soup today.
Clever! :)
smiles...so poodles will eat it?
and it is intriguing that he chose that for his subject as well...need to read up on why...
Who knew advertising was art back in the day? I enjoyed your poem Kathe. Few would argue that Andy was a clever man. Thanks for sharing.
I like the Dr. Seuss feeling of your poem ... at first I thought you were heading in the "soup, soup the musical fruit" direction.
Great write. Edward Lear would have been proud of you.
Good soup..and definitely share with a poodle! Clever..like Andy!
Noodles and poodles - a fine recipe... :-)
Clever write!
It was certainly a great bit of advertising. I don’t think Campbells did badly out of it.
This is super fun!
=)
Extremely clever. I love the reference to Warhol.
Giggle...I'm not sharing mine with any poodles...
Great job! love all the rhymes!

indeed nicely done...thanks for this
Singing along. Soup, soup, wonderful soup...
Fame from the mundane; wish I'd thought of that, but then I also wish I could paint!

Ha, this is fun - and different, too! Like it.
"Eat it with a scoop"
I love it!
Excellent and great fun!
"Share it with poodles" -- that line has just endeared you in Bonbon's heart. My Standard Poodle just loves soup poured over her dry dog food (but prefers Safeway Deli's chicken and noodle to Campbell's....).
Wonderful stuff....and that's another result for Campbells/Warhol...I fancy some Cream of Tomato now, I do!
Everything is art. You caught his point well. Fun read. I love soup. Thank you, Kathe!
