A limerick! I'd give my kingdom for a limerick!
Bravo! I was trying to dredge up a brand-name for the electric typewriter for my piece, and my mind went blank, except for Selectric, which made me think: Is that just one that sounds like a real brand, or did my memory serve me right?
Yours was beyond clever.
One thing I liked about typing on paper, the relief of tearing it up and starting again. Hard to do with the computer.
I just wrote a poem nonsensically titled because I couldn't figure out what to call it. I called that poem "Spaghetti Sauce With Wine". Now your limerick speaks of spaghetti and sauce. Spooky.
