Sweetheart-

I hope this finds you and the kids not missing all of us

too much. Captain Cook and Greta are having such

a swell time and are very excited about their new home. 

We should arrive soon at the North Pole and then once

everyone is settled in the Admiral and I shall head home.

Perhaps you don't think this is such a cute creature,

but I love my Blue Bellied lizards.

They scoot around my veggie garden and eat all

sorts of bugs that might eat my vegetables!

I don't mind sharing at all!!

As you can see we have a nice garden space complete

with fencing that keeps out the deer and rodents!

Wonderful evening of happy children dancing.

Siskiyou Dance Company is located right here in Weed.

Our small town is so fortunate to have such wonderful

dance instructors and an incredibly talented group of children.

From little feet to teenagers hip hopping and rocking out-

they all did such a great job of entertaining us

while having a wonderful time.

My Mother died far too soon.
The last time we saw each other
I knew- and I think my mother knew
we'd never see each other again.
In a strange way we joked lightly.
I still wonder if we shouldn't have done it differently.

It's Feline Friday!!! May 31, 2013

While visiting our friends Tom and Steve 

in Lake Oswego I had to take photos of

their two cats Oscar and Lisa. 

They each have distinct personalities..... 

Oscar is so relaxed and laid back....

While Lisa has some issues with

strangers in the house....

Oscar just doesn't understand Lisa...

And Lisa doesn't understand Oscar,

but she's trying to relax!!!

Poor Lisa- it's hard being only 12" tall.
