Thankful Thursday! September 13,2018

Thankful for Mother Nature's gift of rain!

Looking east towards Mt Shasta

I'm always up before dawn with Lucy
wanting to be fed and then she goes back
to sleep and I go outside to water the garden,
fill up the bird feeder and listen to the day begin.
Last night it rained a bit and this morning
the birds were more active flying about
and I could hear the Canada geese honking
overhead. I think fall is just around the corner!

  4. Kathe,

We've gotten some rain on and off this week. I expect more will make its way into our area by the end of the weekend with Florence moving inland. We are far enough out of the path but the rain & windy will spill into East Tennessee. I have family North Carolina. I pray for their safety. Thanks for popping in for a visit and linking up.

  5. Such beautiful views need to be savoured, and dawn/morning is a great time to do it. Me, I like to view things at night, mainly wildlife for supper, but it is still a delight to see. During the day, basking in the shade and a light breeze watching the cloud and nature pass by (professional work aside) is how life should be...
