It's Awww Monday! September 4, 2017

Doe with one of her two fawns.
We keep large saucers filled with water
for all our wildlife-especially during fire season.

As you can see from my header photo
we have a lot of smoke from all the
wildfires around us. So far except for all the smoke we have no fires close to us.
The closest was in Dunsmuir and thanks to all the volunteers and Cal Fire
the Bradley fire is under control.
Firefighters are our heroes.
Stay safe where ever you are!

  1. It's so nice to see the wildlife can rest peacefully at your place, knowing they are safe. Happy Monday!

  2. I would do the same for the wildlife if I lived where you do. Good for you.

I'm so happy you're not in the middle of a fire. I know the smoke can get bad though. We've had it here too.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday. Big hug to you and Russell and tons of scritches to Miss Lucy. ♥♥♥

  7. We are socked in with smoke, here in Shasta County. We need some rain. Praying for all the fires and our Firefighters.
