Six Words and Sunday Shadows! December 10-11, 2016

It's time to make cookies!!!

I really don't need an excuse to make
cookies....I love making cookies!
Today it will be Ginger Molasses cookies!

Kathe's Famous Molasses Ginger Cookies

2/3 C canola oil
4 T Molasses
1 t ginger
1 t cinnamon
1/2 t salt
1 C sugar
2 t baking soda
1 egg
Mix above ingredients together
Add 2 c flour and mix with a spoon.
Roll into balls- you choose how big or small. Mine are a generous teaspoon size.
Dip into sugar ( I use a pie pan to dip the cookies )
For a festive touch press into each sugary ball a cinnamon redhot candy
Bake at 350F for 9 minutes or more depending on your stove and how you like them.

Do drop by Six Words
and have a great weekend!

Those look great, even though I'm not eating many cookies these days. I hope you're having a terrific weekend.

Oh-these are my favorite cookies and I have not seen this recipe (this particular one) for 4 decades or more. Now I'm going to have to make them!

I like our kitchen, the eating area full of artistic shadows - just the place to enjoy those divine cookies!

I love the shadows, but I really love the cookies. They look fabulous.

Have a terrific rest of the day. We are home and resting after a long drive. Big hug to you both and lots of scritches to Miss Lucy. ♥♥♥
