Pauvre Petite Chat

They never let me out
No matter how I meow
Or stamp my paws and shout
"I must eat that mouse right now!"

I'm stuck in the house
Must admit it's rather cozy
Laying by the fire
And my toes are getting rosy

I'd rather be a toasty cat
Sleeping by the fires glow
Than that little chilly deer
Out standing in the snow.

  2. You definitely got into the mind of a cat. They do seem to ulitmately love being inside in the warmth no matter what they may think looking out. Thanks for posting this. Happy Holidays.

  8. smiles...the thought of that cat stamping her paws and getting a bit pouty made me smile... and laying by the fire on a cold day is much nicer than in the freezing cold...yet snow has its spell as well...so i might even wanna be that deer for a bit..smiles

  10. Yes! Sometimes one of ours thinks it wants out. As soon as it feels the cold, or sees one of the dogs running in the field, or something else in the big, wide world, it wants right back in!

  17. I think maybe Lucy isn't aware of how good she's got it. Who would want outside when it's so cozy and nice inside at your house?
