It's Feline Friday! August 23, 2013

This is Missy Gracie
Rescue kitty Gracie has been living
with our good friends in Lake Oswego
for years. Her right front paw was seriously
mangled by a dog before she was rescued and
adopted by our friends. It is amazing how she
manages to get around. Of course she is an indoor
only kitty. Much safer that way.
She lives with this dynamic trio:
All are rescued kitties.

Steve of  Burnt Food Dude started Feline Friday
to convince all of us that he loves cats....so thanks Steve!

  2. Poor cat. Good thing she found a loving home. Hope she doesn't feel left out because she's not black and white though.

  3. Gracie is fortunate to have found nice caretakers like your neighbors. I can tell that she is happy now.

She also reminds me of our cat, Farrah Fawcett Minew. Our daughter named her. I picked her from a basket of kittens in front of the grocery store. She had to be an outside cat because she couldn't stop climbing the sheers.

Bless your friends & their FurKids! Black & white FurKids...looks like our house! of course, it doesn't have to be that way...we love them all. I am glad Missy Gracie is safe now. Some of our rescues were disabled: hit by cars, attacks, shot/amputees...it is a dangerous world.

  13. What a furry beauty, and how blessed she is to find a place where she is loved and allowed to assume a role as head of household! I love to see how a cat's personality will shine when given the opportunity!

I agree, that black and white photo of floor with cats is super-striking, you are so good at this!

I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers! Thanks!
