  3. We need to relax in the shade in the summer heat. Perhaps just rocking in the shade is such an old-fashioned way to try to beat the heat...although in the USA, we retreat into the coolness of A/C these days. Our forebears seemed to cool off in the shade. Hopefully we can relate and find shade in which to col off. Our ancestors did :)

  6. Wonderful Six, Kathe. I know what is worse than relaxing in the shade. My mother taught me that you can't relax for long in the sun.

p.s. I like your sign-in comments. Google + gives me fits too. I joined only because I had used all of my FREE Blogger picture allocation. Google + has no limit.

I didn't give them a profile because that takes over the Blogger profile and doesn't automatically put on a link to your blog. Jim

  8. Just the spot to sit and dream, or read, with a nice glass of iced tea.

  9. What a lovely place to sit and relax! Your land with its wide open space...that is no neighbors peering at you... always looks so pleasant.

I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers! Thanks!
