V is for Vegetables!

V !!

What would we do without our delicious
home grown or Farmers Market vegetables?
Yesterday I had great fun prepping and planting
in my deer fenced garden.  So far I have planted
spinach, red onions, garlic, potatoes and herbs.
More will be planted once it's warmer.
Have a scrumptious day!

Early Thursday morning......beyond the garden
you can see the beginnings of the greenhouse
that Russell is building. Next year we will be
able to start our veggies a lot earlier!

  1. I would love to have a greenhouse!

I enjoy garden-fresh vegetables, but unfortunately, we just don't have the space for a garden. (One of the downfalls of living in a large city.) I've considered container gardening. That might be fun for the kids.

    Have a great day!

  3. Good luck with your veggie garden this year, sounds like you have the makings for some delicious hashbrowns there! Or anything else you want to create. Yum!

  7. We only have our potato's in so far. They're just starting to sprout! I'm so excited.
Next will be the tomato's and other veggies, just getting that garden set. Love your garden and it looks great with the fence. We moved one of our gardens inside a fence as well. Some creature keeps on stealing our melons!!

  9. We don't do well with gardens so it's the farmer's market for us.

I spend most of my summer with vegetables at a farm market, and being a vegetarian, I must say there's a special place in my heart for them. ;)
