Nothing better than home baked bread!

Dough rising in the sun

Nothing better than home baked bread!
Besides making the house smell wonderful...it tastes divine!
I came across a book several years ago that had such
simple bread recipes that I make this bread all the time.
So simple that there is no kneading and the dough makes
up to 4 loaves plus the dough keeps in the fridge up to 14 days!
Here's the link to that book: http://www.artisanbreadinfive.com/

  3. I don't cook too much these days, but a fresh baked loaf of bread is very tempting.

  5. I checked the meme - we seem to thrive on carbs here at home, and what better than bread made yourself. We haven't yet from scratch ourselves but have with a bread maker - the dough rising in the sun is great, a perfect place to warm the dough, a natural way and off the grid - very cool!

An olive tapenade adds a bite to the less savory wheat bread - a true pairing of opposites that sounds divine!

  7. If I bake the bread, I'll eat the bread. That's the only downside!

    Happy Saturday. ☺

I noticed my local supermarket has started selling rye flour - so I bought some yesterday with bread making in mind - this is a timely post.
