My Christmas Cactus Is Quite Confused


This Christmas Cactus had a few blooms out for
the holidays, but now? Holy mackerel- look at all the
blossoms and buds yet to open!
This must be a Valentine Cactus...

  2. At least yours is blooming!! Mine is usually covered with blossoms, but this year has been so gray I think the cactus is confused -- the whole plant had ONE blossom!! And it's a BIG plant!! Great shadow shot for the day, Kathe! Enjoy your weekend!

  3. It is nice to have such cacti inside our homes - it reminds us of deserts and warm places, a sort of psychology that allows us to forget about winter - if only for a few seconds...we do watch our cat carefully as he enjoys the tasty blossoms! Have a great week!

  7. Our Christmas cactus was full of blooms at Christmas and is still going strong now, it's amazing! I love them so much. I think yours was waiting just so it could surprise you and brighten your February days!

  19. I had problems with my Christmas poinsettia this year, Kathe. It barely limped past Christmas, but last year we still had it at Easter.
