My Christmas Cactus Is Quite Confused

the holidays, but now? Holy mackerel- look at all the
blossoms and buds yet to open!
This must be a Valentine Cactus...

Wow, that's a late bloomer, but when it blooms it does it in a very large way.

Have a terrific day Kathe. :)

At least yours is blooming!! Mine is usually covered with blossoms, but this year has been so gray I think the cactus is confused -- the whole plant had ONE blossom!! And it's a BIG plant!! Great shadow shot for the day, Kathe! Enjoy your weekend!

It is nice to have such cacti inside our homes - it reminds us of deserts and warm places, a sort of psychology that allows us to forget about winter - if only for a few seconds...we do watch our cat carefully as he enjoys the tasty blossoms! Have a great week!

Confused but pretty! Maybe it's the weather, if your pattern is unusual right now; ours is.

Our Christmas cactus was full of blooms at Christmas and is still going strong now, it's amazing! I love them so much. I think yours was waiting just so it could surprise you and brighten your February days!

Funny thing is, mine did the same thing this year! I had two blossoms at Christmas, now have lots more. An early Easter cactus instead? Confused!

I think most nature is confused by the weather...people, too.

It might be confused but it looks fabulous! I am jealous! I have tried and tried to grow those and I kill them every time!

I hope you have a great week!

I had problems with my Christmas poinsettia this year, Kathe. It barely limped past Christmas, but last year we still had it at Easter.
