Ancestors.....


One of my many brother-in-laws has been researching
the family genealogy online. One of their ancestors was
a Viking by the name of Skullsplitter. No joke!


Today an ale by the same name is made up in the Orkneys.
It's quite tasty....

    That is absolutely wild! And he died in a battle against McBeth of Moray. How many people can say they have a relative that died at the hand of McBeth.

    Sometimes i wonder about some of our ancestors, but i'm almost afraid to find out.

    One family found out one branch of the family was loosely labeled as Gypsies because they were the town thieves.

I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers!
