Magpie Tales The Great Seal

Image provided by Tess Kincaid of Magpie Tales

A dollar changes hands often in a day
Some hands will swiftly pay to play
Others gently finger and carefully pay
Not knowing what might happen later in the day
All the while when that dollar is spent
None of us truly realize what it represents
An Approval of a New Order of the Ages
A foundation for a country to be built in stages

  2. I like your poem. Few people think about it but money had to be invented, and "Paper" money is an amazingly sophisticated concept.

  12. And still being built.

Money is an interesting thing, indeed. we vest it with so much meaning beyond a means of exchange, even in what designs we choose for it.
