Magpie 79- Road Trips!!

Image courtesy of Tess at Magpie Tales

This image reminded me immediately of being a teenager

and seeing how many could fit into one car and

the driver still be able to steer the car.

Hilarity abounded and we laughed and laughed.

I am so glad I grew up in a more innocent time.

That was 26 in a VW bug if I remember correctly... ah but for the wonderful road trip!

You could do that then. Less cars on the road. Now you'd get booked for it.

A group of us did that once with a volkswagon beetle. I didn't think we were going to make it out!

It was an innocent time, for sure - but only because we were young, I think! Well written...

I grew up just a tad later when kids had their mom's station wagons and we could fit so many kids into those. Great memories.
