A Week with Grace and Other Things

Grace flew over from NYC for a wonderful week long visit...

We started out at the annual Oregon Brewers Festival...

Then had friends over for a good visit-here's Zan and Grace

We hiked the trails at Silver Creek Falls-
spent 4 hours and saw lots of waterfalls...

Our shadows in Silver Creek

Flowery meadows going home on the backroads...

Tattoo seen in the Pearl District

Kids playing in Jamison Parks fountain....

and the final photo is an homage to Magpie Tales and
my poem for this week having to do with odds and ends that I collect.
Scroll down a few posts and you can read it for yourself...

Now I understand the inspiration for the Magpie!

  2. Being married to a collector makes a big difference in the "strife" department . . . and it also helps if you don't have to move very often. I always tell my husband, "It takes stuff to make stuff" and since making stuff is my job, I've made sure I'm ALWAYS prepared.

(But every time we've moved, it's registered big on the self-loathing meter for me when I have to handle everything I own.) Let's just say that in our last move, we exceeded our packers all time box count . . . they had to start over with a new color of stickers. Not a proud moment for me!

I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers! Thanks!
