I had too much fun with this photo prompt-but couldn't make up my mind as to which one to use...so poem fans here are two to choose from-you tell me which one I should have chosen! And don't forget to visit Magpie Tales to see more poetry from all of us! http://magpietales.blogspot.com/
First Try
Another One
My palsy walsy
Busy as a bee
Wanted the perfect knife
To use for cheese.
He searched the cupboards
He pawed through the drawers
No little French knife
To be found, oh alors!.
Finally we remembered
The last time it was used
A picnic last weekend
and voila! there it was!
It was in my purse
I could see the slight glint
Upending my purse-I dumped it all out
Pencils, stockings, my evil eye and
ahah! there it was!
Ensnared by the wee little fish.

I like them both ~ for different reasons ... but forced to choose, I pick #1. Nice job!
Hi Kathe,
Both are good, so I can't choose! I'm glad you gave us both to enjoy.
They are both great. But I would have to say I think enjoyed the second one best.
These are both truly wonderful Magpie Tales, and both utter delights to read. But my favourite is the first one, I love charming scene you created there :D
I'll have to say the first one is great but the magical purse in the second one stole my heart..nice magpie duo!
I liked both, preferred the first. :)
Yup, the second one did it for me, too!
ha. you can tell by your words this one was fun for you...i like the first as well. nice magpie!
Both are good! I like how you worked in a past prompt in the second one - clever!!
I vote for #2! It's the snappiest!!
These are both greatly enjoyable - I'm unable to choose the favorite...
No1. Picnic with wine and cheese for me. I was put off No2 by the image of the content of your purse! Just kidding. Umm... what's an 'evil eye'?
Liked them both -- the first one a tiny bit better -- because I read it first?
I like both but the second better, not sure why. Good idea to just but both. Thanks for stopping by. blessings

I am unable to choose, I'm afraid. Both are very jaunty and lots of fun!
I simply loved "Another One" - No 2 for its cadence. It dances in my mind...
Extremely well woven, liked the flow as well.
